Davenport is ranked 5th in small cities by AmeriCorpsThank you to all of Davenport's AmeriCorps members who do so much for the community!

Davenport produced the fifth highest number of AmeriCorps workers among small cities in the United States in 2018, according to the Corporation for National and Community Service.

The City of Davenport AmeriCorps Program is a unique opportunity for Davenport High School Students between the ages of 16-19. This program provides the benefits of being an AmeriCorps service member (i.e. earning educational awards to use for higher education, and being supplemented with a bi-weekly living stipend, all while helping the community) with career exploration opportunities.

Since 2011, our members have directly contributed over 150,000 hours of volunteer service to the Davenport community.

This is Davenport's second year in the AmeriCorps top five, according to the Corporation for National and Community Service. In 2017, Davenport ranked third.
