Beer, Wine, and Liquor Licenses

Governor Kim Reynolds issued a State of Public Health Emergency declaration on March 19 granting temporary relief to Iowa bars and restaurants impacted by mitigation efforts related to COVID-19.  These changes are in effect until March 31, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.

The City of Davenport as the local authority has the responsibility for approving all liquor, wine and beer permits for submission to the State of Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division for issuance.

Should you not have access to a computer you can contact our office or visit the Davenport Public Library. You will also need to be able to access your bank accounts online in order to provide the State with your bank routing number and account number to authorize electronic transfer of funds for new and renewal applications.


 

***IMPORTANT***

Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for processing of a new beer, wine or liquor license application from the time it is submitted until the license certificate is issued by the State of Iowa.
