The National Weather Service showed off their new facility to their community partners recently following their move.

Davenport Public Works, Davenport Fire Department and Davenport Public Library are Weather Ready Ambassadors for the weather service.

The NWS outgrew their old facility at Davenport Airport so relocated to a new building not far away.

An open house for the general public is scheduled for Oct. 21 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 9040 N. Harrison St., the first building as you enter the airport.
