Davenport Cleanup and Greenup (Apr)

Picture of a volunteer planting a tree during the 2016 Cleanup and Greenup Tree PlantingCleanup and Greenup has a whole new meaning this year.

Volunteers can help us beautify our community and protect local water quality by:

  • Planting trees in celebration of the city's 39th year as a Tree City USA, or
  • Clearing litter and other debris from our city's major corridors, or
  • Removing invasive species along Duck Creek Recreational Trail.

All of these activities provide a great opportunity to enjoy spring, improve our community, and help protect our natural resources.

Aside from a sense of pride in a job well done, participants will meet new people, have fun, and receive a t-shirt for their efforts to help us improve our community.
