Beginning Wednesday, April 8th, Davenport municipal golf courses will be open for IOWA RESIDENTS ONLY. Davenport Parks and Recreation is continuing to observe the current COVID-19 health crisis and adhering to recommendations from public health authorities. As always, our primary concern is for the safety of our patrons and staff. 

Golf patrons must:
■  Practice social distancing (6 feet away)
■  Limit gathering in groups (less than 10 people)
■  Play and move on (leave after round is complete)
■  Avoid physical contact (refrain from touching one another)
■  Reside in the state of Iowa (no out-of-state residents)
Current precautionary measures in place:
■ Golfers are limited to single rider carts (unless playing with family member)
■ Each golf cart will be sprayed with disinfectant following round
■ Credit card sales only, with terminals located outside (no physical contact with cashiers)
■ Clubhouses are closed and locked
■ Restrooms are accessible from the outside only
■ Increased frequency of cleaning/disinfecting other high touch points such as countertops, credit card devices, door handles, etc.
■ Cups are filled with foam insert (no removal of flagstick)
■ Ball washers are empty to avoid any other touch points

Ground transportation center
The Ground Transportation Center (GTC), located at 300 W River Dr, will be closed to the public beginning at 5 P.M. Wednesday, March 18, due to CDC guidance on social distancing and COVID-19.

The buses will be staged on 2nd St instead of the GTC.  Temporary parking and route signage has been placed to accommodate rider pick-up and drop-off on 2nd St.This change is in effect until further notice.

Davenport CitiBus is temporarily suspending its Sunday bus service effective this Sunday, March 29th until further notice.  The suspension will continue until such time that concerns regarding the COVID-19 virus are minimized or eliminated. 

Beginning Tuesday, April 7, CitiBus is limiting the maximum number of passengers on a bus to one person per row per side.  That is approximately 12 to 14 people on the bus at one time. If a bus passes you at a stop, it is because the maximum number of riders has been reached.  You will need to wait for the next bus in this case.
Waste Commission of Scott County
Drop-off of household hazardous materials has been suspended at the Waste Commission of Scott Facilities. Keep these materials secured until they can be safely disposed of

Housing Authority closed to walk-in traffic
Harrison Parking Ramp Downtown is free until further notice. Two-hour on-street parking continues to be enforced and parking in the Redstone and RiverCenter ramps is still paid

Solid Waste will begin pickup at 6:30am on regular scheduled routes

All branches closed through March 31. The drive-up window at Fairmount Branch, 3000 Fairmount St., will  be open 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. , Monday-Saturday for hold pickups only.
