Beginning the week of June 25th, contractors will begin demolition of the existing riverfront parking lot, between Brady and Perry Streets, as part of the Main St Landing Project. This phase of the project will demo the existing parking lot to construct a new flexible event space that will provide parking as well as support other activities along the riverfront, such as food trucks and other events where access to electrical is necessary.
This initial project phase is scheduled to be complete in late August, pending weather and river levels, and will immediately be followed up with a second phase, which will add additional amenities such as streetscaping, lighting and concrete paving details. Full project completion is anticipated Fall 2018.
