Please note, the dates provided are estimates. Weather and other construction factors may postpone start and completion dates. Significant changes in start and completion dates (seven days or more) will be reported.

Harrison St lane reduction at Central Park Ave
Beginning Monday, June 1st the two right lanes of Harrison St will be closed at Central Park for electrical work.  MidAmerican Energy estimates the work will be complete by Tuesday, June 2nd. 
Kimberly Rd
Monday, June 1st and Tuesday, June 2nd the right westbound lane of Kimberly Rd will be closed from Thornwood to Pine for a water main repair. 
Main St Update
Work to install a new sewer main under Main St between River Dr and 3rd St is temporarily suspended due to river levels combined with recent rain and high water tables. 

This work is tentatively rescheduled to begin around mid-June, pending favorable conditions.
McClellan & Mound
Expect lane reductions on River Dr between approximately Forest Rd and Mound to remain in place through mid-July. 
Repairs to Division St Bridge are set to begin June 1st
Repairs to the Division St Bridge over Duck Creek are set to begin Monday, June 1st.  Work will begin in the northbound lanes and then transition to the southbound lanes. One lane of head-to-head traffic will be maintained in each direction. 

As part of the project, the contractor will be removing and replacing the bridge deck surface, replacing sidewalks and making structural repairs. 

Bridge improvements are estimated to be complete around Friday, September 25th, pending weather.

Be aware travel delays are possible during construction.

Other On-Going Projects and Current Work

Work Continues On

  • The railroad bridges on E 13th and Elm Streets remain closed due to structural insufficiency.
  • E 46th St closed from Brady to Welcome Way.
  • E 53rd St from Brady to Eastern for street reconstruction.
