Crews finished salting Posted Snow Routes. Response to this event has ended.

About a ½ inch of snow fell late last night.  A small crew was called into salt all Posted Snow Routes.  Crews will finish salting Posted Snow Routes around 8am.

Higher temps and sunshine later this afternoon should melt any snow on all other roads.

Slick conditions are possible.  Use caution when driving. Do not drive like you would under normal weather conditions.

Roads are slick this morning.  Crews have been dispatched to plow and salt Posted Snow Routes as needed.  

Drive with caution if you out and about this morning.

The current National Weather Service forecast indicates the area will receive around .6 inches of snow between 1am and 11am Saturday, November 17
th.  Additional snow is possible.

Melting is likely if pavement temperatures remain above freezing; however, crews are on standby to respond if snow begins to accumulate or conditions become slick.

Roads were not pretreated for this event because rain is expected to precede snow.

Motorists are reminded to take their time, and to travel with caution when the snow begins to fly.  Do not expect to drive as you would under normal weather conditions.

The current National Weather Service forecast indicates the area will receive around 1.2 inches of snow overnight between 9pm this evening, Thursday, November 8th and Friday, November 9th at 6am.  Additional snow is possible.

Melting will likely occur should pavement temperatures remain above freezing; however, crews are on standby to respond if snow begins to accumulate.  Bridge decks may be slick overnight and through the morning hours.

Motorists are reminded to take their time and travel with caution when the snow begins to fly.  Do not expect to drive as you would under normal weather conditions.
