Davenport Community Planning and Economic Development Department will hold open houses Dec. 1 and 2 from 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. that are available for purchase through the Urban Homestead program.
These are rehabilitated single family homes that are available for sale to qualified buyers through its Urban Homestead Program. The properties are located at 1412 West 15th Street and 1501 Eastern Avenue.

www.qcfsbo.com. Since 1980, over 100 working households have become homeowners through the Urban Homestead Program.
Those interested in applying to purchase the homes must meet basic credit and income requirements, but are not required to put any money down. There is a $25.00 nonrefundable application processing fee.
Applications will be available at the open houses; however, completed applications will not be accepted at the open houses.
Applications will be available and be accepted starting on Nov. 13, at 8 a.m. through Dec. 14 at 4 p.m. at the City's Community & Economic Development Office in City Hall at 226 W. 4th St. They are also available online at
