UPDATE - MAY 8, 2020

After careful consideration of the health and safety of residents and City staff along with uncertainty regarding future distancing guidelines, the City of #Davenport has cancelled the 2020 Party in the Park events. The City plans to host an event to celebrate our amazing parks when the time is right. Please enjoy the summer while staying safe. City staff looks forward to this terrific initiative returning in 2021.

Original Release - February 19, 2020
Party in the Park was so fun last year that the City of Davenport is bringing the event back and super-sizing it. An additional date has been added, increasing the number of events from seven to eight. The two-hour events will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on selected Thursdays from May 14 to Aug. 20.

In addition to free food, entertainment, and fun for the kids, the events will offer an opportunity for neighbors to meet neighbors, visitors to learn about the neighborhoods surrounding the parks, and everyone to engage in face-to-face conversations with elected officials, representatives of civic organizations and staff from several City departments about concerns and opportunities facing the City.

May 14 Lafayette Park 700 W. 4th St.
