Solid waste will not be collected on Thursday, November 22nd in observation of the Thanksgiving holiday. Collection will be one day late for residents with Thursday and Friday collection; Thursday’s collection will occur on Friday, and Friday’s collection will occur on Saturday.
Residents may place up to three extra bags of garbage outside of their cart without an extra garbage sticker on their collection day Friday, November 23rd through Wednesday, November 28th.
The Davenport Compost Facility will be closed on Thursday, November 22nd and Friday, November 23rd in observation of the Thanksgiving holiday. The Compost Facility will not be open on the weekends beginning Saturday, December 1st as the facility will switch to its winter hours.
