Chad Dyson is on the job!
Davenport’s new Parks and Recreation Department director started today. Make sure to greet him and welcome him to Davenport.
Chad joins Davenport’s parks team from Iowa City where he oversaw operations and programs for the city’s recreation division. He also served as Superintendent of Recreation for the Westmont Park District in Westmont, Ill.
Chad, who is a Rock Island native, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sports, Health, Leisure, and Physical Studies from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa and a Master’s degree in Recreation Administration from Aurora University, Aurora, Ill. He completed the Community Leadership Program of the Iowa City Chamber of Commerce in 2017.
Chad and his wife Erin have four children; Cade, Hayden, Jace, and Beckham.
