Due to some scheduling changes, Slopertown Rd was opened to one lane of travel in each direction late Tuesday, September 18th. During this time, east/west travel lanes will be separated by safety road cones, and warranty work will be performed in the south lanes.
Slopertown will re-close on Monday, September 24th through Tuesday, September 25th to prepare and paint traffic lanes along the roadway, pending weather conditions. Once traffic safety markings are complete, the road will be re-opened and the project will be complete.
09/14/18
Significant rainfall in recent weeks has delayed completion of Slopertown Rd improvements. The majority of work is complete, however shoulder and warranty work, as well as striping, will need to be performed before the road can be re-opened.
On-going issues with traffic control being moved by the public also continues to be an issue at this site. Barricades are placed for public safety and should not be moved under any circumstance. While it may appear work is not happening, often times it might be that concrete is curing and driving over these surfaces before properly cured can cause damage to the surface requiring re-work, or to your car, at your expense.
The contractor is hopeful work will be complete sometime the week of September 21st through the 28th, pending weather and other construction challenges.

Rain threw the re-opening of Division/155th Ave and Slopertown Rd a bit of a curve in the last couple of weeks. The contractor will be striping the roadway and placing all traffic safety signs on Monday, August 27th. The intersection will re-open sometime later that day. Once re-opened, north/south travel through the intersection with Slopertown Rd will return.
Roadway improvements will continue on Slopertown Rd, west of Division/155th Ave for a few more weeks. Slopertown will remain closed between Division and Granite Way until this portion of the work is complete. East/west travel on Slopertown is not permitted.
The contractor estimates all work will be complete around September 14th, pending weather and subsurface conditions.

Work on at the intersection of Division/155th Ave and Slopertown Rd is progressing. The intersection of Division St/155th Ave at Slopertown Rd is estimated to re-open around Wednesday, August 22nd. North/south travel will no longer be detoured once the road is re-opened.
Roadway improvements will continue on Slopertown Rd, west of Division St for a few more weeks. Slopertown will remain closed between Division and Granite Way until work is complete.
The contractor estimates all work will be complete early September, pending weather and subsurface conditions.

Beginning Monday, July 16th, the intersection of Slopertown Rd and 155th Ave (north Division) will be closed for intersection improvements. North/south and east/west travel will be detoured.
The closure is necessary for several traffic flow improvements to be made in the area, including installation of turn lanes and additional traffic lanes.
The contractor estimates this work will be complete on or by Monday, August 13th, pending weather and subsurface conditions.
Work on Division St adjacent to the Davenport Soccer Complex is complete.

Current work, adjacent to the Davenport Soccer Complex, should be complete by the end of the week, as work on the Slopertown Rd/155th Ave intersection begins.

N Division St Project Update. Division St will remain closed just north of 76th and just south of Slopertown Rd through early July as part of traffic improvements taking place in the area. The project has been delayed for necessary underground utility work.
Once complete, additional traffic improvements will be made on Slopertown Rd, and at the intersection of Slopertown Rd and Division St.
The Soccer Complex remains accessible just south of the construction zone on Division St.
Continue to follow the signed detour while this project is under construction.

Beginning the week of April 16th, pending weather, Division St will be closed just north of 76th and just south of Slopertown Rd to install an intersection for truck traffic into Sterilite. This is the first of three traffic improvement projects that will be completed in the area this year.
The first project, adjacent to the Soccer Complex, will install turn lanes. The Soccer Complex will remain accessible just south of the construction zone. Work on the intersection improvement is estimated to be complete mid-June depending on weather and sub-surface conditions.
Following completion of the turn lanes on Division, a second project will install turn lanes into Sterlite from the north on Slopertown Rd. The third project will improve the intersection of Slopertown Rd and Division St by adding 3 additional lanes of traffic for turning and traffic purposes.
