About Us

The Solid Waste Division has been accredited by the American Public Works Association and designated as a Model Education Program.
 
We manage one of the oldest and largest sanitation programs in the state and we have been in operation since April 1, 1932. Today we provide an Automated Garbage Collection and a total of six city services using 36 employees with a budget of $4.0 million dollars.

The City of Davenport is divided into collection days according to this map. Recycling and Bulky wastes are collected "Every Other Week", so the map is also divided into North and South routes and colored for a special calendar. Click on the map to find information for your area.
